The account-creation experience is now intentionally minimal. It establishes a login identity and verifies email ownership first, then moves the account into a more deliberate onboarding sequence where role choice and profile details are collected in a calmer, more contextual environment.

That split keeps signup friction lower while still leaving room for the high-end security theater and longer-form trust-building that define the rest of the site.
